No. 2185/ President John F. and First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy’s White House Bedroom Chairs
The Louis XVI Style chairs, painted in Cream and Robin's Egg Blue and covered in their original upholstery.
First used by the Kennedys at their Georgetown house, possibly acquired trough their decorator Sister Parish.
Original photos from the JFK Library show the chairs to have been placed in 2 areas of the Kennedy's White House bedroom.
The chairs were then kept by Mrs. Kennedy for her personal use and then sold to the current owner in 1996.
